Cancellations

If you are unable to attend a trip for which you registered, notify the Birds Connect Seattle staff ASAP so someone else can fill your spot. Repeat no-shows will have restricted access to field trips. (Three no-shows in six months will result in 90 days restriction of field trip participation.)

Call the leader only for last-minute cancellations.

Lottery Registration Procedure

During months with higher demand, we will implement a lottery system for registration to give more people the opportunity to participate.

  • Advanced registration is required for all Field Trips. No walk-ins, please.
  • Current Birds Connect Seattle members may sign up for themselves and one guest for no more than two lotteries per month; members receive priority registration.
  • Do not call leaders to register; their numbers are listed only for last-minute cancellations.
  • Field trips are for people 18 years of age and older, unless otherwise noted.
  • Registration is open when field trips are posted. You can register online via the REGISTER link in the calendar description.
