The planned enhancements\u00a0would help connect habitat patches from Seattle University up to Volunteer Park\u00a0through\u00a0the most densely populated urban village in the Pacific Northwest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8212;-<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Birds Connect Seattle is a leading member of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fws.gov\/birds\/grants\/urban-bird-treaty.php\">Urban Bird Treaty<\/a>, recognizing the importance of protecting urban bird habitat, reducing hazards to migrating birds and connecting people to nature.
